Dr. Will Ferry has spent decades leading engineering teams and major R&D programs across startups and global enterprises in Canada and internationally, spanning both industry and academia. About Will

Will Ferry built his career in environments where mistakes were expensive, visible, and had real consequences. As a Ph.D. Mechanical Engineer and licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) based in North Vancouver, he spent over two decades managing R&D programs across the aerospace, robotics, and electronics sectors, in organizations where constraints compete, risk is constant, and reliability is non-negotiable.

In leadership roles at Pratt & Whitney Canada, Genesis Robotics, and Molex, he drove execution across engineering, manufacturing, and test teams in high-stakes environments where ambiguity was the norm. He brought clarity and alignment, producing measurable outcomes: faster cycle times, smarter validation, and advanced automation.

Alongside technical leadership, he built deep expertise in adult learning and facilitation. His academic career spans mechanical engineering degrees across three Canadian universities, and includes time as an adjunct professor at McGill University where he designed and delivered a graduate-level course in Computer Integrated Manufacturing.

As a management consultant with Kwela Leadership, he delivered workshops across 16 leadership topics to groups of up to 50 people, equipping leaders and teams with practical tools to communicate clearly, align quickly, and execute under pressure.

Today, he integrates engineering rigor with human-centered coaching. He holds the CPCC credential through the Co-Active Training Institute and the ACC credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

This combination of high-stakes technical leadership, adult learning, and executive coaching is what drove him to build Will Ferry Group. Scaling doesn't fail from lack of talent. It fails when systems, decisions, and communication can't keep pace with change.
