Executive Coaching. Training. Fractional Engineering Leadership.

Who We Work With

We support technical organizations and leaders across:

  • Manufacturing and industrial operations
  • Aerospace, electronics, and robotics
  • Architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC)
  • Testing, validation, and quality
  • Technology and IT-enabled systems
  • Scaling small and mid-sized technical enterprises

How We Partner With You

We start with a discovery conversation to get clear on your context and desired outcomes. Together, we co-create a tailored solution grounded in our four cornerstones: Human-Centered Leadership, Practical by Design, Applied Expertise, and Engineered for Scale. We use proven frameworks your team can adopt quickly.

We align on deliverables, ownership, and a timeline you can trust, then drive delivery together, keeping momentum high, surprises low, and results measurable.

1:1 Executive Leadership Coaching

Ideal For

Technical executives and leaders who need to influence, align stakeholders, and find balance without burning out.

Common Outcomes

  • Stronger executive presence and influence
  • Clearer priorities, faster decisions, and greater confidence
  • Better team performance through coaching conversations
  • Job shadowing and 360 degree feedback translated into a practical development plan
  • More balance and a sustainable pace without sacrificing performance
  • Career clarity and transitions into new roles

How It Works

We start with a discovery conversation and build a designed alliance with key stakeholders to align expectations and define outcomes. From there, we build a coaching plan around your day-to-day reality with bi-weekly sessions, bite-sized actions between calls, and practical tools you can use immediately.

Client Wins

Executive Leader: From siloed conflict to predictable delivery.

A CTO's calendar was hijacked by urgent escalations because their direct reports were siloed and competitive, not aligned. We gathered 360 degree feedback from their team, clarified decision ownership, and introduced a simple weekly rhythm to surface issues early. Within eight weeks, friction dropped, escalations decreased, and team cohesion improved with measurable progress against the plan.

New Manager: Coaching a difficult employee and taking decisive action.

A newly promoted manager was struggling with a difficult employee and avoiding hard conversations. We clarified expectations, built a simple coaching plan, and practiced feedback and documentation tools they could use immediately. The employee was given a fair opportunity to improve, and when performance did not change, the manager followed a clear process to manage them out. Within six weeks, the manager felt in control again and team stress dropped.

Purpose-Built Training and Group Programs

Ideal For

Technical teams and leaders who need practical skills, stronger collaboration, and a shared way of working, so execution is consistent and teams are aligned. Every session ends with personal action plans and accountability partners so insights are translated into clear commitments people can apply immediately.

Common Outcomes

Our workshops are designed for real adoption, not theory. Teams leave with:

  • Shared language and practical tools they can use immediately
  • Better alignment with their peers and clearer ways of working
  • Hands-on practice through facilitated activities using real-world scenarios
  • Personal action plans that translate insight into behavior change
  • Follow-through support (templates, job aids, playbooks)

Popular Workshop Topics

  • Influence and Alignment for Technical Leaders
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Coaching Conversations for Performance
  • Psychological Safety and Structured Feedback
  • Hiring Consistency and Quality
  • Leading Change Without Burnout

Client Wins

Conflict Resolution Training.

A technical team at a start-up software company had recurring friction and avoided direct feedback. This meant that issues escalated quickly and leaders were overloaded managing difficult behaviors. We ran an interactive workshop to practice real feedback conversations, agree on an escalation framework, and set clear expectations for handling repeat patterns. In the weeks that followed, issues were raised earlier, handled more consistently amongst each other, and team stress dropped.

Coaching Conversations for Hiring Managers.

A large health products manufacturing company was losing momentum in hiring due to inconsistent interviews and job applicant-facing missteps from hiring managers. We partnered with the talent acquisition team to implement a lightweight system: a coaching-based feedback framework, a consistent debrief method with documentation, and practical prompts that talent acquisition partners could use with hiring managers.

Fractional Engineering Leadership

Ideal For

Small and mid-sized industrial and high-tech companies in Vancouver and across Canada that need senior engineering leadership but aren't ready for a full-time hire. If you're scaling R&D, shipping products, onboarding suppliers, or building the operational systems your next growth stage demands, we step in to lead, build, and execute with the depth your team needs.

Typical Engagements

  • Interim and fractional engineering leadership
  • R&D and product development systems
  • Engineering team structure, hiring, and onboarding
  • Documentation systems: SOPs, standards, operating sheets, work instructions
  • Supplier readiness: specs, onboarding, approval, and quality criteria
  • Cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, quality, and leadership

Client Wins

Scaling Production Through Supplier Manufacturing.

A small industrial products manufacturer was outgrowing in-house capacity. We partnered to transition them to a supplier-based manufacturing model by building the documentation and quality system required to scale with confidence. We developed standard operating procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operations Sheets (MOSs), supplier approval criteria, and clear quality specifications, so they could share requirements and specifications with manufacturers across North America and Europe while protecting intellectual property, quality, and consistency. This enabled them to source production closer to end customers, reducing shipping costs and lead times.

Building a Gated R&D Process for Scaling.

A growing industrial company had strong ideas and customer pull, but their research and development of new products lacked a clear intake and prioritization process. The customer complained of too many parallel projects, unclear priorities, and challenging handoffs to manufacturing. We implemented a lightweight stage-gate workflow with practical templates for charters, requirements, risk reviews, test plans, and decision checkpoints. This gave senior leadership a clear way to prioritize the highest-impact projects, reduce constant switching, and move the right initiatives forward with confidence. We also aligned documentation to support R&D grant applications.
