1:1 job interview training

Have you been to numerous interviews but haven’t received an offer?

Have you been told that another, more qualified candidate was found or that you don’t have enough Canadian experience?

Have you asked for feedback after your interview and received a generic response or no response at all?

Today’s labour market is tight, but employers are very picky. It takes only a few red flags at the interview to put them off. HR representatives and recruiters won’t give you honest feedback, so how are you supposed to improve if don’t know what you’re doing wrong and no one will tell you?

As an engineering hiring manager, I’ve conducted countless interviews on both sides of the table. I know exactly how the engineering interview process works and what makes successful and unsuccessful candidates. My interview training provides the following:

  • Interview strategy– a presentation on how to progress from interview to offer in four easy steps
  • Interview training– a mock interview for a job posting of your choice. I’ll show you how to play the interview game by navigating difficult questions and demonstrating your enthusiasm and passion for the job.
  • Interview feedback– a written summary of your strengths and weaknesses, along with a solid plan to improve your interviewing skills.

At the end of the training, you’ll have learned to enjoy the interview process. You’ll be confident in your ability to showcase your talents and turn difficult questions into opportunities to shine. More importantly, you’ll dramatically increase your chances of getting that offer and negotiating a fair salary.
